Spending ten years in the Hospitality Industry, working at some of the largest hotels, and restaurants in New York City, I knew early on that it was going to be exciting and filled with late nights and long hours- with not much to show for my hard work.
Moving to the People/Human Resources world was a natural and logical progression. Now, after 25 years working in HR within the hospitality, media, software, insurance, and finance industries I have come to realize that no matter the industry, humans are humans. People want to be heard, they want to be part of something bigger than themselves and they want to be surrounded by leaders that care, and whom they can care for too.

Colin Haupt is an HR Executive and Certified MBSR Teacher who has spent the past 25 years working alongside people within the insurance, finance, technology, and engineering industries. Focused on putting people at the center of the organizations, he identified the why and how to create a culture of trust and care that resonates for all team members. Colin resides in Darien, CT with his three children: Lily, Claire and Christopher, two dogs: Lucy and Emmy, and their flock of chickens.
